Every bottle is authentic. Here is how we can say that.

Counterfeit fragrance is the single biggest problem in this category, and most customers arriving at an independent perfume retailer are — reasonably — asking themselves whether the price is too good to be true. So rather than simply asserting that our stock is genuine, here is exactly what we do.

1. Authorised and verified supply

We source through authorised distributors and established wholesale channels within the United States. We do not buy from open online marketplaces, auction sites, or unverified private sellers, which is where the overwhelming majority of counterfeit fragrance enters circulation.

2. Sealed, in original packaging

Unless a product page explicitly states otherwise, every fragrance ships new and unopened, in the manufacturer's own outer carton, with the cellophane factory seal intact. You break the seal, not us.

3. Batch codes intact

We do not remove, sand, sticker over, or obscure batch codes. The code printed on your bottle and its carton is the manufacturer's own and can be checked independently against public batch-code databases. If a code has been tampered with on a unit we receive, that unit does not get sold.

4. Inspection before dispatch

Every order is checked by hand before it leaves us — seal, carton condition, batch code, and that the bottle inside matches the listing exactly, including size and concentration.

If you receive a fragrance from Totesly and have any reason to believe it is not authentic, contact us at support@totesly.com within 30 days of delivery. We will cover return shipping and issue a full refund. We will not ask you to prove anything first, and we will not make it difficult.

A note on price

Our prices are frequently below department-store retail. That is a function of overhead, not of authenticity — we do not operate counters, we do not pay for prestige floor space, and we do not spend on the advertising that is priced into a bottle at a luxury retailer. The bottle is the same bottle.
